"....I knew it was time for a change. I saw an ad for Heaven Sent in a magazine and made an appointment to meet the owner. (In all my years of working with another agency I never even spoke with the owner, let alone met them.) I was immediately comfortable with her. She brought several potential caregivers with her for me to meet as well. (Previously, I never had the opportunity to meet the caregivers in advance or even interview them over the phone.) And they got to meet Helen and assess her needs.
One of the things I liked right off the bat was the exchange of contact information. Both caregivers would be allowed to contact me directly if there was ever a question or concern. (The other company had a policy against direct communication – they wanted all communication to come through the office.) I was given their cell phone numbers. That way, if I was coming to visit, I could call and ask, “Where are you?” It has been a huge blessing!
Cherie has been amazingly involved and responsive. She is the most proactive administrator I have ever worked with in any capacity. She usually knows before I do that there is an issue that needs to be addressed. She doesn’t wait or make excuses. She just handles it and keeps me informed. She goes with the flow as Helen’s needs change. She answers the phone personally and greets me by name. I can’t say enough about what a pleasure she is to work with.
I have been so pleased with her company that I have begun making arrangements with her to provide services for my parents, who are also local. I trust her with the lives of the most important people in my life – my family.I highly recommend Cherie and Heaven Sent for your senior care services. She means it when she says, “This isn’t just a job, this is my ministry!”
"Dear Ms. Vermillion,
I wanted to let you know how grateful I am that my mother, B.P., connected with your organization while my father, R., was in the hospital and rehab several weeks ago. Not only your staff, but you personally were a huge blessing! You treated my mom so kindly.
I am especially grateful for D.S. who endured very long nights with my dad but did not give up. I'll never be able to repay her for that sacrifice.
I commend you for what you are doing and I keep you in my prayers. May God richly bless you!
In Him," S. B. The Plains
